Obviously baby wipes for use when changing nappies are a must have for those with children, but you can choose those that are not made with any plastic and that are also biodegradable. Once they are out of nappies you could easily replace the wipe with a damp flannel.

You can also now buy eco friendly nappy bags. The most important piece of advice is not to flush the wipes down the toilet, as they are causing enormous effort, time and money to clear from blocked sewers.

Our government have pledged to reduce or completely eliminate single use plastic items, which includes wipes, so get ahead of the curve and start to eliminate them from your life now.
